Howdy, Partners:

On behalf of the Lewis Vincent Elementary School faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your family to our school. Our educational journey will focus on academic excellence and inspire your child to become the "Best in the West". Please help us create a productive, positive, and rewarding school year by becoming a part of our "Home on the Range": students, parents, and staff… working and learning together.

The 2008-2009 school year will offer many opportunities to share quality experiences with your child. During the year we encourage you to support your child’s learning experience at Lewis Vincent by attending Open House, Family Nights, parent-teacher conferences, programs, assisting with homework, reviewing folders, volunteering and actively participating in school-wide activities.

In developing this handbook, we hope to provide helpful information to acquaint you with the rules, guidelines, and policies that govern Lewis Vincent Elementary. The calendar includes important dates that guide your family on learning adventures. Three (3) forms should be filled out and returned to the school:
  • Student Information Sheet (Address Changes require two current proofs of residence)
    •
  • Parish Drug Policy Form

  • FORM–pertaining to student handbook/ school wide positive discipline plan, in order for your child to be properly enrolled.

    We look forward to providing an atmosphere where our students "Lasso Learning" and "Saddle up for Success."
